If you listen to country music radio stations in the morning you know they all have their morning talk show. What shows do you listen to? My all time favorite show is the Bobby Bones Show. This show talks about serious things, new music, new artists, and they make you laugh! I start every weekday morning by listening to the Bobby Bones Show while driving to school and work. They never cease to amaze me and keep me entertained on the long trek.
By listening to this show I have become aware of who Cam is and I don't regret that for one second! Bobby Bones (often called Bobby Jones by accident) is also very generous. The are very often donating to St. Jude's and coming up with crazy ways to do so. Along with the radio show Bobby Bones has a line of clothing called Pimpin Joy that represent putting joy first and helping others, check that out! Hey Bobby, thanks for keeping me entertained on my drives, and always introducing me to great new artists! You are a wonderful person and the show is also wonderful! Find the Bobby Bones show on your local iHeart Radio Station. Keep up with the Bobby Bones Show here. Cale Dodds is an artist that I have mentioned on here before.. because I adore him! His music is so good, and he has a personality that just draws you in. Whether you are at a show or on social media he wants to be apart of his fans lives! He is constantly drawing off of his crowd to get hyped up and make that show the best one you have ever seen. Speaking from experience, I've seen him twice and talked to him before the show both times, he is a very down to earth person who you just want to be best friends with! So Cale, what's the deal can we be best friends yet? Anyways, Cale has opened for artists like Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, and many more and is becoming a very popular rising country singer. He recently did an interview with Stage Right Secrets where he updates us on new music (finally!!), touring, and what's next! Take a look below! Make sure you follow Cale on all social media sites @caledodds Question: What's your favorite Cale song? Let me know in the comments! Also Cale, can we do an email interview? Lets make it happen! SiriusXM The Highway is one of my favorite radio stations to listen to. They play the newest country, some old country, and introduce the upcoming country music. They have a segment called On The Horizon where they take listeners advice on who we want to hear on the radio! It's so simple how it works: 1. Tweet @SXMTheHighway 2. Tell them who you want to hear 3. Add #OnTheHorizon to the tweet Easy as that! As well as tweeting who and what I wanted to hear I thought I would make a post to also highlight to you who you should be listening to! First up, Kelleigh Bannen! My favorite Kelleigh Bannen song actually isn't released but it's called Church Clothes and it is perfection! But since you can't purchase that or play that on the radio since it's not released I will share my second favorite, You Are What You Love. This song is upbeat, very catchy, and one you are bound to love! Kelleigh is an awesome singer with great vocals and if you get the chance to see her live don't second guess yourself, pay the money and go! Second is, Cale Dodds! Cale is an upcoming artist who tours and does shows regularly. Cale is one of my favorite people to see live because he is so genuine and caring about each of his fans. The song you guys need to check out is called That's When I Knew. This song has such a great sound to it that you are bound to fall in love with it and him! Finally we have, Clark Manson! Clark's music is very good. I recently saw him in concert for the second time, first one at a bar and second his first arena show! He was so good live and he captures his audiences attention. The song you guys need to check out is Runnin' With The Night. This song will catch and keep your attention and get stuck in your head, which is a good thing. Make sure you check out all of these songs and check them out on social media. You can purchase all of these songs on iTunes! Just like this time last year Cole Swindell will release a brand new Down Home Session. If this Down Home Session is anything like the last you will want to make sure you get it! The original DHS featured songs like Boomerang, Ready, and a few more. It featured both upbeat and slower songs that get stuck in your head and make you want to keep listening. Even thought it is a 5 song EP you won't regret buying it. My favorite from the original would have to be The Way You're Lovin' Me Now and Ready. My favorite Cole memory is seeing him on his Down Home Tour last year and being serenaded with Ready and the VIP pre-show! Cole is a great performer and puts on eye-catching shows you will remember forever. With moves like his Swindsheild Wipers you won't want to miss his shows!
The Down Home Session 2 EP also features 5 songs and is expected to release November 6, 2015. You can buy one song on iTunes right now called Should've Ran After You, trust me you won't regret having this song on your radio. While you're checking it out on iTunes make sure you go ahead and pre-order the EP. The EP track list features: Dangerous After Dark, My First Radio, Should've Ran After You, Shuttin' It Down, and Blue Lights. This album sounds awesome so you will definitely want to make sure you have your copy! Cole, you never cease to amaze me with your awesome music! I've seen you twice in a bar, your first stadium show with Luke, and a few other times, you will forever have a fan in me! I can't wait to see what your music career holds for the upcoming year and watch you continue to grow as an artist! Keep up with Cole on social media by clicking on the social icons below. You can also subscribe to his YouTube channel and follow his Swindell Vision to get an insiders view of what life is like on the road! In honor of linking up with Andrea from Momfessionals I will be sharing my Friday favorites with you! Today on my agenda is road-tripping to Troy, Ohio to go to Hobart Arena for a concert! I'm so excited to get back in the concert scene (my last one was at Paul Brown Stadium for the Kick the Dust Up tour... I may have went for TR and asked his tour manager if he was coming to the show tonight).
The Line Up: First up is the opener Clark Manson. Clark is an up and coming country singer who is originally from Covington, Ohio! He's an Ohio boy and I can't wait to see him for the second time! He recently released his new single Track 9 and it is my FAVORITE Clark song! It's so relating because you can think about that song that you jam out to and all the memories start flooding back! If you haven't heard it yet check it out and head over to iTunes to buy it! The main singer to hit the stage is Brett Eldredge! I've seen Brett four times and once this past summer with Darius! Brett always puts on a great show. With his soulful background and his hyperness you are sure to be in for a night you won't forget. Brett recently released his second album Illinois and it's one of my FAVORITE new albums! There are so many great songs on the album. Some of my FAVORITE tracks include the collaboration with Thomas Rhett titled You Can't Stop Me, Fire, and Drunk On Your Love. Check out those songs and others and help a boy out by purchasing his album today! Thomas Rhett recently released his new album Tangled Up. This album has stirred up a lot of debate about whether or not it should be considered country or pop. I personally feel that Thomas Rhett's album is a good mix of both. With the different mixture we get a good variety of what Thomas's influences are. Rating this album I would give it a 5 out of 5. Rhett knows how to mix the songs just right so he has some upbeat songs like Vacation some meaningful songs like Die a Happy Man and even and anthem song ironically titled Anthem. His current single Crash and Burn is also featured on this album and he has been hopping from TV show to TV show playing it this week. He started out at Good Morning America, made a pit stop to Ellen (might I mention my two favorite things TR and Ellen), and is making a stop tonight on the Jimmy Kimmel show. If you haven't already make sure you stop and get this album. Show TR some support and join the Hometeam! |
